Slot Roles

The slot roles of a component definition in Pathfinder define into which types of slots the component definition can be placed. E.g. a module with the slot role “SFP Module” can be built into an SFP slot.

Select the Slot roles tab of the component definition properties. Here you can add new slot roles and delete existing ones (1). If the desired slot type doesn’t exist yet you can create (2) or import it.
