The 32-bit version of Pathfinder is officially deprecated and will be discontinued starting April 2026.
To ensure continued support and compatibility, please migrate to the 64-bit version of Pathfinder as soon as possible.

Updated Software Bill of Materials (SBOM)
To support transparency and compliance with industry standards, an updated version of our Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) is now available. The SBOM provides a comprehensive and traceable overview of all software components included in our solution.

Rack View Extension and Improvements
Racks from different rooms can now be opened simultaneously.
Racks can be added or removed from the view at any time.
The occupancy calculation and display have been enhanced and extended. Each rack layer now includes three detailed fields:
Occupied Area
Occupied Rack Units
Largest Free Rack Unit Block
Port hint positioning has been refined to better avoid overlapping with connection lines.
Keyboard shortcuts (Alt + F and Alt + R) now apply to all devices visible in the current view.
Rack selection highlighting has been restored, making selected racks visually distinct again.
Discovery
Hostname and other IP address properties are now directly updated by Discovery jobs.
LLDP and CDP support has been added to retrieve information on neighboring devices.
Neighbor information is now displayed in both Pathfinder Client and Pathfinder Server if available.
Device classification has been improved.
Support for Bachmann PDUs has been added. BETA
VLAN membership retrieval now also supports Ruckus ICX and Moxa devices. BETA
Other Improvements
A grayscale mode has been added to the map.
For cable, tray, and network path reports, the location filter now determines the display direction of the objects.
Port selection in the serial patch dialog has been improved for 1:n connections.
The handling of 1:n connections in reports has been improved.
Floors are now sorted by floor number by default.
The color of a cable definition can now be specified during creation.
Changing the color of a cable definition now also updates all associated cable instances using the default color.
Cable length can now be defined directly during patching.
The network path display in the connection overview has been extended to include the complete component path.
Components in racks can now be copied even when installation cable connections exist.
The destination bay can now be selected when relocating a component.
A shortcut for saving changes in the context panel has been added (
Ctrl + S
).Layout templates are now stored in the database and available across installations.
Loading times for large background image files have been significantly reduced.
Components can now be resolved and updated by UID during Excel import.
Component definitions can now be edited from a module's context menu.
Several additional performance improvements have been implemented.
Bug Fixes
Texts in the Network Map are now displayed correctly within memos using the proper settings.
During cable creation, ports on components with identical names are no longer grouped together.
Issues with cable numbers containing additional characters have been resolved.
Report footers are now correctly saved again.
Searching contained network paths now correctly includes those ending on the back of the selected device.
Any property change now immediately triggers the save option in the context panel.
An error that could occur when replacing components with modules has been fixed.
Several missing translations and wording inconsistencies have been corrected.
Various additional bug fixes and stability improvements.
