Import Component Definitions from File

This pages describes how to import component definitions into an offline environment. You can either download component definitions from the customer portal or export the local catalog in a seperate Pathfinder instance with internet access.

Select the Import Component Definitions from File option from the import and export section.

You can import component definitions directly into your local catalog from your local files here.

Component definition files are offline versions of the component definitions available in the online catalog. This useful for workstations without a connection to internet as you can load component definitions from your local directory instead.

To import a component definition, click on load from file (1) and select your file from your local system.

The pathfinder component definition files are in a .pfcxml format.

After you have loaded the files into Pathfinder, click on Import (2) to incorporate the files into the local catalog.

Click on Close to finish importing your component definitions.
